Most of her life she used her middle name of Jane. Her birth was August 2, 1857, Dade County, Georgia and her death was Aug. 16, 1918, in Ripley, Payne County, Oklahoma. (Note that the 1860 census (linked below) gives Alabama as her place of birth.)

Jane's spouses were John Thomas Ritchie (1851 - 1894) and Jim Warren (1845). Her daughter was Josephine Catherine Ritchie Gilbert (1879 - 1969).
