Elizabeth Evilina Wardle was the daughter of Richard Dix Wardle and Anna Maria Wiseman. She married Captain A. H. Ortte and was the mother of Mrs. Allene Osborne, Mrs. W. F. Long, Mrs. James C. Tourne, Henry, Charles, James, Richard, and E. F. Ortte. She died at age 80.
