Karen Ann Ladner was born on September 28, 1949, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, to Hester Ladner and Josephine Geis. Karen died only about a week later on October 7th. She was buried in the Bayou LaCroix cemetery. Her younger brother, Barry, who also died in infancy, was burried next to her.
